Shrimps are a type of shellfish and are fast making their way into our local Nigerian cuisine. At Fresh To Dommot our fresh shrimps are sourced from the best farms. Shrimps are rich in iodine, protein, vitamin B12, iron, omega 6 and 3. They are a great pick for small chops, skewers (shrimp suya), if you choose to spice up your fried rice and seafood okra soup, they are never a miss. You can get that similar shrimp flavor, when you try our prawns (king size), fresh tiger prawns and lobster.
Our shrimps can be delivered as is or prepped to your instructions. We clean shrimps before delivery so that shrimps arrive neatly packed and ready to cook or ready to be stored in the freezer until you are ready to cook.
For best results, cook fresh and store leftovers in a freezer. A tip for defrosting shrimps: soak in cool water for 10-20 minutes, wash to break off clumps and you are ready to cook.
